1. I support the City Council’s multifaceted approach to protect open space through preservation of our canyons and creation of a permanent greenbelt around our city.
   

2. As Planning Commissioner, I have worked with developers to preserve open space within projects.
   

3. I served as an active member of the Save Open Space Committee, working hard to draft a good Open Space Preservation District. I spent months working with other organizations and individuals to promote the District.
   

4. As your Council Member, I will work to create development standards that encourage more creative project design to preserve our hillsides and oak trees.
   

5. I will ensure that our Open Space Preservation District funds are used strategically and that the Oversight Committee has the ability to do its job.
